The 7th United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) deals with energy – “Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all.”

Every process requires energy for its functioning. Ensuring 24/7 access to sustainable energy is vital for establishing a sustainable community. The world is steadily moving from non-renewable to renewable energy resources. Yet, various steps have to be taken to ensure energy accessibility. Millions of people do not have continued access to energy. Expanding the access of safe and clean cooking fuels and electrification to people in third world countries has to be fast-tracked in achieving sustainable energy access.  New methodologies and products have to be built for ensuring last-mile energy access.
