“Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all” – is the sixth and one of the important United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)

SDG 6 is focused on making clean, accessible water available to everyone. Water scarcity, poor water quality, and inadequate sanitation are the problems that the goal hopes to solve globally. Billions of people still do not have access to clean and potable water despite steady progress by various governments across the world. The pandemic has stressed the importance of sanitation and hygiene for containing the spread of disease. Building and strengthening the capacity for proper sanitation and sustainable water management is vital for the growth and prosperity of the community.
