The 15th United Nations Sustainable Development Goals is as follows – “Sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, halt and reverse land degradation, halt biodiversity loss”

Forests are the lifeline for all living beings and resources. It is the most important factor in the chain of survival.  But these resources are facing extreme strain due to rapid urbanization and abundant consumption of resources. Urbanization and agricultural expansion has led to massive deforestation and loss of biodiversity. Steps have to be taken to ensure the sustainability of forest resources and the loss of biodiversity.
