AIC RAISE Gains GENESIS Support
to Fuel Tech Innovation

In a significant boost to its efforts in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, AIC RAISE Business Incubator has been selected as one of the 65 incubators nationwide, and one of only five incubators from Tamil Nadu, to receive funding under the prestigious GENESIS (Gen-Next Support for Innovative Startups) initiative. This groundbreaking program, launched by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), is set to accelerate the growth of over 10,000 tech startups across India over the next five years.

What is GENESIS ?

GENESIS (Gen-Next Support for Innovative Startups) is a forward-thinking initiative designed to fuel India’s startup ecosystem with a special focus on inclusivity, accessibility, and affordability.

The program, backed by a robust budget of Rs. 490 Crore, aims to provide essential financial and mentorship support to tech startups, particularly those based in Tier-II and Tier-III cities.

By doing so, the initiative addresses the challenges often faced by entrepreneurs in these regions, ensuring that innovation thrives not just in metropolitan hubs but in smaller cities and towns as well.

AIC RAISE’s Role
in the GENESIS Initiative

As one of the few incubators from Tamil Nadu to receive this coveted funding, AIC RAISE is set to play a critical role in driving the growth of tech startups, especially those focused on sustainable and socially impactful solutions.

Based in Coimbatore, AIC RAISE has consistently fostered a culture of innovation, providing startups with the resources they need to turn their ideas into scalable businesses.

With the GENESIS fund, AIC RAISE will be able to amplify its impact through a range of initiatives:

INITIATIVE

Empowering Innovation in
Tier-II and Tier-III Cities

A core mission of the GENESIS initiative is to bridge the gap between urban and non-urban regions, ensuring that innovation is not limited to metropolitan areas. With Coimbatore as its base, AIC RAISE is well-positioned to harness this funding to empower entrepreneurs from Tier-II and Tier-III cities. These regions, often rich in talent but limited in resources, stand to benefit immensely from the GENESIS program’s focus on accessibility and inclusivity.

By providing tailored support to startups in these regions, AIC RAISE aims to foster innovation that solves real-world problems while contributing to economic growth. This initiative will stimulate job creation, boost technological advancements, and encourage sustainable solutions that can make a meaningful impact at both the local and national levels.

Empowering Innovation in
Tier-II and Tier-III Cities

AIC RAISE has long been recognized for its commitment to sustainability, focusing on social impact and environmental responsibility. The GENESIS fund will further enable the incubator to support startups that align with these values, encouraging the development of technologies that promote a cleaner, greener future. Through its incubated startups, AIC RAISE is set to play a pivotal role in driving India’s shift towards sustainable development, ensuring that innovation is not just profitable but also beneficial for society and the planet.
