2 Days Bootcamp on PFMS &Proposal Writing!
The PFMS &Proposal Writing Boot Camp, held on December 13th and 14th, was a resounding success! Over 30 participants from various institutions and incubators joined us for two action-packed days of learning, collaboration, and inspiration.
From mastering PFMS procedures to learning the intricacies of writing strategic proposals, the boot camp equipped participants with the essential tools needed to secure funding for their initiatives. A special thank you to Mr. Francis, Senior PFMS Consultant at DST, and our expert panel for
sharing invaluable knowledge and sparking fresh ideas. We’re excited to see how these newly acquired skills will empower startups, NGOs, and social innovators to drive growth and make a lasting impact in their respective fields.

AIC RAISE and PSGIAS Join Forces to Propel Innovation in Biotech and Nanobiotech
We are excited to announce that AIC RAISE has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PSG Institute of Advanced Studies (PSGIAS), aimed at fostering innovation and research in Biotech and Nanobiotech. This strategic collaboration will focus on driving joint research efforts to advance these cutting-edge fields, while also providing crucial support to emerging startups. Through mentorship and collaborative research, the partnership aims to empower students, faculty, and researchers to explore sustainable solutions and achieve breakthroughs.
In addition to research and development, the MoU will also facilitate industry consultancy, patent filings, and knowledge sharing, ensuring that both institutions can lead in technological innovation and contribute significantly to the global scientific community. This partnership promises to be a significant step forward in driving forward-thinking initiatives that will shape the future of biotech and nanobiotech.

SHEKARAM2024: Empowering Women Entrepreneurs for Success
SHEKARAM2024 was aday filled with inspiration and empowerment, as over 180 women entrepreneurs gathered for a bootcamp designed to support and scale their businesses. Hosted by AIC RAISE in partnership with TNRISE, the event centered around the essential pillars of entrepreneurial growth—Mentorship, Market Access, and Financial Resources—providing participants with the insights and tools needed to thrive in their ventures.
We were thrilled to have Dr. Uma Maheswari P, CEO of TN RISE Women Startup Council, join us as the esteemed Chief Guest. Her presence was truly inspiring. Our keynote speakers, Subitha Justin, Co-Founder of BAM Consulting and Managing Trustee of We Wonder Women, and Vinitha Joseph, Founder & CEO of Bluepurple Management
Consulting, shared their experiences and expertise, motivating the next wave of women
leaders.
After the sessions, attendees had the opportunity to visit various support stalls. AIC RAISE & RAIN offered guidance on incubation and investment opportunities, while TNRISE provided valuable insights into government schemes and policies. Naveen Prabhu Associates offered legal and financial advisory, and Rank You Higher assisted with branding and marketing strategies. IDFC First Bank introduced banking solutions, and Shanvika Associates provided
guidance on FSSAI compliance.

Inspiring Industrial Visit by KIOT College Students at AIC RAISE
We were excited to welcome the students of KIOT College at AIC RAISE for an insightful and engaging industrial visit! The day began with informative sessions focused on the IEDC I Hub and the role it plays in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. Students learned about the valuable services offered by the incubation unit, I-Start, and the vital importance of entrepreneurship in today’s world.
The visit also included a special introduction to two remarkable non-tech student startups, where the students got to hear about their success stories and the challenges they overcame on their entrepreneurial journeys.
To cap off an inspiring day, the students submitted their own business ideas for validation, marking the start of what we hope will be their own entrepreneurial paths. The visit was a truly productive and impactful experience, and we look forward to seeing the next generation of innovators from KIOT College succeed in their ventures!
Incubation Managers Hustle 2024: A Collaborative Step Towards Strengthening Tamil Nadu's Startup Ecosystem
On December 19th, StartupTN hosted the Incubation Managers Hustle 2024 at AIC RAISE, Coimbatore, bringing together Incubation Managers and CEOs from Coimbatore, Tiruppur, and the Nilgiris to discuss the future of the startup ecosystem. The event featured key topics such as the Proposed TN Incubation Policy, Scaleup Incubator 2024, Startup Valuation & Technology Transfer, and Peer Learning & Best Practices.
A highlight of the event was the insightful Fire Side Chat on Startup Valuation &Go-To-Market Strategy, led by Mr. Pradeep Raj (AVP, AIC RAISE) and Mr. Gautham
Palaniswamy (Manager- Incubation, CDIIC). The session addressed challenges faced by growing incubators and shared strategies to overcome these hurdles, offering valuable insights on how to scale effectively.

SparkUp Demo Day 2024: Celebrating Innovation and Entrepreneurship
We are excited to announce that the SparkUp Pre-Incubation Program has reached its exciting conclusion! On 21st December 2024, our startups will present their innovative ideas to two expert panels after an intense period of mentorship and guidance.
The first panel session, starting at 11:00 AM, will feature Jayendra Pratap Singh, Startup Coach & Mentor at Startup India, and Mini Gautam, CEO & Director of Arthavat Legal and Compliance Solutions.
The second panel session, at 02:00 PM, will include Pradeep Raj MS, AVP of AIC RAISE, and
Gayathri Chidambaram, Project Lead at StartupTN.
This Demo Day marks a significant milestone in the entrepreneurs’ journeys, with industry leaders offering valuable feedback and insights to help refine their business ideas.
