Innovation starts with an idea. At AIC RAISE’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development
Centre (IEDC), we believe that every student carries the potential to shape the future through creative solutions. That’s why we created the Idea Vault—a dynamic platform where students can share, refine, and transform their ideas into viable business models.
The Power of an Idea
Many students have brilliant concepts but lack the direction or resources to bring them to life. The Idea Vault provides them with a structured yet flexible space to submit their ideas weekly via a simple Google form. This process ensures that no idea goes unnoticed, and every student
gets a chance to contribute to the innovation ecosystem.
The Three-Stage Process at IEDC
Idea Vault: Students submit their ideas, which are then reviewed for uniqueness, feasibility, and potential impact.
Boss Table: The most promising ideas are shortlisted and presented before a panel of experts, mentors, and industry professionals.
AIC Pitch: Selected ideas move forward to the pre-incubation phase, where students get the
opportunity to pitch their solutions for funding and support. The top two ideas receive Initial Venture Planning (IVP) government grants to accelerate their journey.
Why This Matters
The Idea Vault fosters a culture of entrepreneurship and problem-solving among students. It
encourages them to think beyond textbooks and apply their knowledge to real-world challenges. By participating, students gain exposure to mentorship, funding opportunities, and a thriving
innovation community—key elements in building successful startups.
Success Stories from the Idea Vault
From tech-driven solutions to sustainable business models, the Idea Vault has already nurtured
several groundbreaking student ideas. Many have gone on to receive funding, collaborate with
industry leaders, and launch their own startups.
Join the Innovation Movement
If you’re a university student with an idea that could create impact, don’t let it stay just an idea. Submit it to the Idea Vault, get feedback, and take the first step toward making it a reality.
